
In this era of technology , war depends upon technolongy and air strikes . If you want to take part in this era and to protect your motherland so, don’t wait because PAF is waiting for heros .
These are the basic steps to join PAF.
Nationality: Pakistani (Male/Female)
Age: Varies by position (usually 16.5 – 22 years for officers)
Education:
Matric / FSC / A-Level / Bachelor’s (depends on role)
Minimum marks: Often 60%+ in required subjects
. Height/Weight: Minimum height 5’4” (for GD Pilot, others may vary)
Commissioned Officers (via Permanent Commission or Short Service Commission)
Airman/Technician
Civilian Staff
Common officer branches:
GD (General Duty) Pilot
Aeronautical Engineering
Air Defence
Admin & Special Duties
Education, IT, Medical, etc.
For applying things you need is a laptop or any other device and a internet connection.
Register online on the official PAF website:

During registration:
It basicly asks you to fill your personal information .It can be CNIC , Nationality , Family info , Education etc.
Choose your branch
As I have told you in the above heading ( choose what you want to be in future ). In this step they will ask you about what seat you are applying for .
Select test center
You have to select a center near to your home or where you want visit for test.
Print your registration slip
It will require you when you go for test in your selected center. Without slip you will be stopped to give your exam.
You will be called to the nearest PAF Selection Centre for:
Academic Test: Based on your education level (e.g. Math, Physics, English)
Intelligence Test: Verbal & non-verbal reasoning (MCQs)
Tests are computer-based
Initial medical test includes:
Height/weight check
Eyesight, hearing, blood pressure
General physical fitness
If you fail, you’re disqualified from further stages.
If your medical goes well, you’ll be called for a face-to-face interview.

Some basic current affairs and personality questions
Don’t worry – just be honest, confident, and respectful. It’s more about your attitude than having perfect answers.
If you’re applying for a commissioned officer role (like GD Pilot), you’ll be invited to the ISSB, which lasts 4–5 days.
This part is fun and challenging.
It includes:
Mental and psychological tests
Teamwork exercises and outdoor tasks
Obstacle course and group discussions
A final interview
It’s all about testing your leadership, communication, and how well you work with others.
After ISSB, if you’re shortlisted, you’ll go through a complete medical exam at a special PAF hospital.
They’ll do:
Blood tests
X-rays
Full-body checkup to make sure you’re 100% fit for service
This is a more detailed check than the first one.
Now, all your scores – from tests, interview, ISSB, and medical – are added up.
PAF creates a final merit list, and if you’re selected, you’ll get the official call or email.
This is the big moment – congratulations if you make it!
If you’re selected, you’ll receive your joining letter.
Here’s what happens next:
Officers: You’ll go to PAF Academy Risalpur for training (could be 6 months to 3 years depending on your role)
Airmen: You’ll train at a PAF base like Korangi Creek or Mianwali
The training is tough, but it’s also exciting. You’ll make friends, learn discipline, and grow into a proud member of the Pakistan Air Force.
